LCCians Assemble for Blood Olympics

Qualified Lipa City Colleges� college students joined the advocacy of the annual Blood Olympics held at LCC-Main Building on June 26,2015, with the theme “We Share Because We Care” ,donating blood and saving lives.

The Cancer Warriors Foundation Inc. celebrates its 7th year anniversary through “Dugo Para Kay Bunso” campaign and they have chosen Lipa City Colleges as one of the participating universities and colleges in the said Olympics. This is the second year that LCC has been part of this activity . Blood letting programs and conducting fund raising events are among the activities undertaken for the cancer patients who cannot afford to undergo chemotherapy and blood transfusion.

Blood Olympics is a joint project of the Cancer Warriors Foundation Inc., Philippine Red Cross, Mary Mediatrix Medical Center, and Batangas Medical Center which aims to collect different blood types and donate them to the registered patients under CWFI who suffer from cancer, particularly Leukemia.
