A source of strength for victims of cancer, the Cancer Warriors Foundation Inc. (CWFI) has been known for its relentless efforts in providing medical services, psychosocial support, and education to children with cancer and their families with the assistance of volunteers.

Founded by Mr. James Auste, a brain cancer survivor who has devoted the rest of his life to help cancer patients, CWFI believes in the compassion and commitment of volunteers which also include parents and family members of the cancer-stricken children. Since 2000, CWFI has helped over 1,000 kids and their families in their battle for life.

CWFI continues to collaborate in campaigns related to ensuring availability of affordable, good quality childhood cancer medications; integrating coverage for childhood cancer treatment in PhilHealth; and empowering Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) as frontliners of the local health sector towards early detection of childhood cancer signs and symptoms.
