Cancer Warriors Run draws 3 thousand entries

CEBU, Philippines — Close to 3,000 running buffs will be taking part in the first ever “Cancer Warriors Run 2018” spearheaded by Rose Pharmacy this Saturday at the Cebu Business Park grounds.
Held in partnership with the Cancer Warriors Foundation-Cebu Chapter and Joel Baring of Sports and Fitness Enthusiasts (SAFE), the charity race is for the benefit of children with cancer. It features the 3K, 5K and 10K categories.
“This is going to be a whole day event to all the loyal customers of Rose Pharmacy. We will be having celebrities Regine Tolentino who will lead the cool down exercise in the morning and Camille Pratts will be there in the afternoon event. We also have our health and wellness caravan and a culminating activity in the afternoon will cap off the whole event,” said Rose Pharmacy’s marketing associate Carrie Guinares.
Cash prizes and medals will be given away to the top performers in each division. The first 100 finishers will get medals.
Interested parties can still catch up as the registration is still open until Friday.
One may register at Rose Pharmacy in Ayala and Guardian Kiosk. Entry fee is pegged at P300 for 3K, P400 for 5K and P500 for 10K.
