CANCER WARRIORS FOUNDATION BATANGAS

Ten years ago, back in 2008, it started with one child. and in 2018 there are more than 400, some undergoing treatment, some are graduates of treatment and others already are survivors. Last July 14th, the celebration of its 10th founding anniversary here in Batangas was held at St. Francis Seminary, bringing Warriors, their parents, volunteers, doctors and donors altogether. It was very simple celebration that started with a con-celebrated mass headed by Cardinal Rosales and Bishop Maralit. The homily of Lolo Cardinal Rosales goes through the hearts of everyone as it sums up what has happened during the past 10 years of Cancer Warriors Foundation here in Batangas. In his own words, “Never think that this is only man-made, this is surely something that God has made.”

I’m sharing these images to show the strength of the children whom we consider warriors, the love of their parents and the hearts of selfless people who continuously give their time, talents and treasures for the warriors. Another reason for sharing these images is to spread the word and the battle cry of warriors… “Childhood Cancer is Curable”.
